With a rich and international background that spans the realms of human connection and holistic wellness, Doug's remarkable journey is marked by his unwavering commitment to making a difference in people's lives.

Doug began his own healing journey twelve years ago — searching for deeper life purpose through the world of spirituality. He began his soul searching by learning from indigenous cultures around the world about their world views, philosophies, and rituals. He studied directly with world-renowned healers across regions of Africa, Indonesia, and Native American traditions, along with Mazateca, Mayan, and South American cultural lineages.

Prior to this, Doug was a new media pioneer and cultural thought leader in NYC, co-creating Mr. Youth (MRY), one of the first and largest youth marketing and social media agencies in the US. He is a multi-faceted entrepreneur — involved with Charles (a former restaurant/lounge in the West Village), The Base Project (a social enterprise working with artisans in Namibia), and The Gratitude Bus, a mobile creative and community hub that inspires people to declare and share their dreams.
